Chenot Palace Weggis is the flagship of the Health Wellness Retreat from Chenot Group. Chenot was founded in 1974 by Henri Chenot, considered by many as the father of the wellness movement. Our aim is to unlock human potential to live healthier for longer. As medical advances have helped strengthen health and increase longevity, the focus has shifted from the quantity to the quality of life. As a result, we are faced with an ageing challenge; how do we ensure that we spend our extra years in optimum health, for as long as possible while reducing the potential for functional decline?

We do not classify health as the absence of disease, rather as humankind’s ability to continually adapt to life with high levels of functionality, resilience and vitality. During our seven-day programmes, our protocol – the Chenot Method® – deploys the principles of hormesis to trigger a cascade of cellular responses with adaptive and repairing mechanisms. We combine diagnostics, precision medicine, Traditional Chinese healing and a fast mimicking-diet, to enable guests to reset and rejuvenate at the cellular and molecular level, synchronising to their natural biological rhythm».

Located at the foot of the Swiss Alps, the Chenot Palace in Weggis has 97 rooms and suites, a restaurant and a tea lounge. The medical spa covers an area of 5,000m² and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support the Chenot Detox programmes.

Tasks and Challenges:

·        Attending and advising our guests on medical/health matters

·        Analyzing records, reports, test results and examination information to diagnose health status, taking into account physical, emotional and social factors

·        Explaining and discussing test results, prescribed treatments and procedures for our guests to follow during their stay at the spa

·        Monitor our guests' progress during their stay and re-evaluate treatments as needed

·        Managing and addressing common health issues that may arise during the stay

Qualifications and Competences

·        Primarily we are looking for MDs specialized in General Practice, Internal Medicine, Functional Medicine, Cardiology or Endocrinology

·        Very good knowledge of spoken and written English as well as good knowledge of German (official international language certificate: B2 level)

·        At least 5 years' experience required after graduating from a medical school

·        Experience in the use of specific IT applications for recording clinical data

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·        Team- and service-oriented personality with a high service orientation
